The Romanian girl with the Italian nose would at first not let me take her photo. I sensed it had nothing to do with principles but with simple insecurity - I asked her if this was so, and upon her confirmation I convinced her (easily enough finding her characterfull face to be quite beautifull) to let me take the picture. She was looking insecure and pressured - and maybe I should have just taken the picture like that; but I wanted her to see herself as I did and said to her - as I was pressing the shutterbutton - remember that God loves you. It is one of my favourite photos from the Sancto Anno Camino.
